Coaching-Centric Consulting

Coaching-Centric Consulting

The only truly effective and sustainable way to address issues is through a coaching-centric consulting approach.  The typical ‘expert’ consultant takes control and sets direction, with no intentional knowledge transfer, leaving the organization confused about the changes and reliant on their ongoing involvement.

Our Coaching-Centric Consulting is a collaborative approach to filling a temporary knowledge gap, while empowering your team toward ongoing, sustainable, success.  We bring decades of functional and relational process experience together with our client’s organizational specific knowledge.  We don’t demand our solutions; we assist clients in developing and implementing their own.

The key to our client’s success is collaboration, with active involvement in setting goals, gathering and analyzing data, developing and implementing actions, and sharing responsibility.

Over the last 25+ years as a consultant, I’ve worked with hundreds of individuals, in dozens of organizations, representing almost every major industry.  I have continued to expand and refine my knowledge, skills, and approach with PMP certification, PMI Disciplined Agile Lean Scrum Master, MBTI Certification, Coach Mindset Certification, and receiving hundreds of hours of International Coach Federation (ICF) accredited training.

In 2019 I met and began collaborating with Audie Penn.  With 30 years of manufacturing experience and decades coaching executives, and a well documented, proven approach, I adopted his SMPL OPeX model.  Today I utilize this coaching-centric consulting approach, working as a fractional operating executive, leadership coach, and Operational Excellence consultant to clients around the world.  Want to learn more about this approach?

What you’re doing isn’t incorrect, it’s only incomplete.

Any organizational transformation is a function of leadership.  The changes implemented in both functional and relational processes require a leadership transformation. Coaching and transformation are inseparable activities.

Everything we do in an organization is the result of a process.  Every process can benefit from precision performance.  Operational excellence takes the tools and techniques of lean manufacturing and applies them in all business processes. When we apply the concepts from all four systems, we can create a pathway to process performance excellence.  To find out what might be missing from your leadership presence, and get a better idea of what Process Performance Excellence(PPX) means, take a look here.
